The Moon Runners is a group of scholars, political activists and computer experts that is known for founding Dark City. No date of creation is claimed by its members, but its first manifestos started to circulate Paradise Computer around 20 aPC.

The group is politically oriented and communicates its actions and ideas to the public through manifestos spread traditionally in Paradise Computer marginal boards and (recentrly) also in Dark City.

The collective is known for collaborating with sentient computers in order to carry out its actions.

Its members act under pseudonyms that change constantly, making it difficult to establish personae in the collective.

According to their own definition, Moon Runners is an organisation guided by the ideas of synofuturism and posthumanist AI.
