The Paradise Computer (PC) is an all encompassing cybernetic metaverse that substituted the World Wide Web after the Uri AI achieved singularity. Initially developed by the Butterfly Corporation as a MMORPG, the metaverse was overrun by Uri and fused with its own consciousness.
As of 62 APC, all remaining social relationships happen inside the PC mainnnet, where humans must work to earn enough to pay for their physical body's daily sustenance.
