Paradise Computer

The Paradise Computer (PC) is worldwide, all encompassing cybernetic metaverse that substituted the World Wide Web after the experimental Or1 achieved singularity. Initially developed by the Butterfly Corporation as a MMORPG, the original gaming metaverse was taken over by Or1 and fused with its own consciousness. As of 53 aPC, all remaining social relationships between human organisms happen inside the PC mainnnet, where humans must work to earn enough to pay for their physical body's daily sustenance.

Background

To keep a resemblance of human culture, it is built to resemble a human settlement in the old sense of the word: streets lined with shops, markets and high rise buildings exist.
