Moon Runners

The Moon Runners is a anonymous group of archivists, political radicals and hackers, famous for claiming the foundation of Dark City. Their exact origins are uncertain, with the first reference to them coming from a manifesto started to circulate Paradise Computer around 20 aPC. The group's members act individually behind changing pseudonyms, making it difficult to establish individual identities in the collective. However, they are known to sign their work with a ☾ symbol.

According to their own definition, the organisation is guided by ideas of synofuturism and posthumanist AI, and is known for collaborating with sentient computers to carry out its actions.
